MANAGEMENT COMMUNICATION WITH ITS EMPLOYEES
Communication between the management and the employees is important and critical for the accomplishment of tasks and for the overall organizational performance. It is a way by which the managers disseminate information to employees on one end. On the other end, it is a way by which employees provide feedback to the management. It is also a means by which the various functional and business units communicate and coordinate on tasks related to each other's functions. Hence, communication is critical in various communication flows: top-down, bottom-up, and lateral.
The case at hand is a communication between the management and the employees, also referred to as interpersonal communication.
Internet for employee usage?
Communication has a purpose, to transfer and facilitate understanding of meaning (Robbins and Coulter, 2002). As such, the process includes the source, the message or purpose to be conveyed, encoding or converting the information into symbol to make it understandable, the channel or the medium used, and decoding or retranslating the sender's message.
