Imagine that you have been asked to work in an unfamiliar industry or field, in an unfamiliar organization, one that you would not normally seek to be a part of. For example, if you would not seek work in an emergency room at the local hospital or in a meat production factory, pick such a field and describe its organization, your coworkers, and the work environment. Answer the following questions:

? What role does technology play in the organization?

The role of technology in organizations is to enhance direct and indirect relationships among organization units and also to improve the manufacturing process of the organization's products. New communication management technology provides the means to manage the most challenging issue or crisis situations. This technology is entirely Internet-based, providing universal access. However, it is highly secure and controlled with multiple levels of user access. The most important advantage of using the new breed of communication management technology is that it puts the full potential of the Internet as a communication tool in the hands of executives and communicators and removes control from technicians, Web programmers, and IT managers who understand technology but do not understand the communication demands of the instant news world.
With technology, the communication within the organization will be more effective. In addition, technology will also enhance the organization's capabilities to produce their products, which could in turn reduce the labor requirement by the organization. As a result, the organization can be more lean and cost-effective.
Tradition is the passing down of elements of a culture from generation to generation, especially by oral communication. The role of tradition will make the organization to conduct the decision making and other business process according to the customs and usages. Some of the customs and usages may be the competitive advantages for the company while some of the customs and usages may not be suitable for the company to achieve the utmost benefit. However, corporate tradition can be adjusted from time to time depending on the management policies and the employees of the company. The effects of the tradition on the organization will be the organizational behaviors.
Environment is the circumstances or conditions that surround the group of people in the organization, especially the combination of social and cultural conditions affecting the nature of an individual or community. The role of the environment will affect the organization to adapt their culture according to the environment in their community because the employees will share the culture and tradition of the community in the organization.
