In order to derive its corporate vision, mission, values and corporate culture, first of all, the company conducts an in depth environmental scanning of its internal as well as external environment.

Such in depth analysis of both the environmental highlights the strengths and weaknesses of the company as well as highlight the opportunities and threats present in the external environment of the company. Further, such analysis provides an overview of the relative attractiveness of the industry in which the company is operating along with analysis of other critical factors such as competition,etc. This exercise provides a strong platform to the management to formulate a corporate strategy for the company, including its mission, vision, values and corporate culture.
