What is the danger of a manager focusing too heavily on creating good working relationships and neglecting control?
Management employee and developing good relationship with the employee to provide than a safe and positive organizational environment is a difficult task for the managers. If a manager focuses to maintain good relations only and neglect the work place control in the organization, this would be a danger for the positive growth of the company (Luthans, 1998). In an organization the manager should have the technical skills, human skills and conceptual skills, so there is no unnecessary area for a manager to develop skills and knowledge (Hill, 2006). Workplace control is an integral tool to monitor, organize, forecasting the various activities and strategies of the organization (Luthans, 1998). If the manager does not have enough command over the work place control, the environment of the organization can become negative and corrupted.
