Communication omission happens when the management removes a part of the details when relaying information to the employees. Sometimes they do it intentionally with the hope of covering up details which they think the recipients should not know. Oftentimes the recipients think that they are being deceived or being lied upon especially when they know that the omitted information is important. When messages are not very clear and specific, the different departments of the organization have different interpretations which cause confusions in the way they understand the implications of the information. There is an overload of information when management relays much information that the recipients can hardly digest leading to omission of the important ones and distortion of the retained information.
