At this point Jim is merely observing what is going on and has taken a back seat to fulfilling his leadership responsibilities. Jim should definitely intervene. Right now the team is operating under the absence of effective leadership which could only cause more confusion, dissention and added pressure. In my opinion the level of intervention must start from within the internal parameters. The form of internal intervention within this team's infrastructure should result in task orientation methods instead of relational seeing that members of the team are already falling behind on project.
