The company that will be analyzed is Zappos, a leading online retail company that initially began as a small startup that offered shoes only. The strategic marketing management that would be implemented by the company's CEO would revolutionize the shoe industry while disrupting previous buying patterns for consumers as Zappos was the very first company to offer customers the autonomy to buy any shoe, in any size, in any color, etc. The company was able to corner a niche in the market that previously didn't exist prior to the company's genius strategic marketing management.
