I have never been one to shop based on bargains, rather I shopped according to my needs or wants. Granted my shopping habits were always within reason, but I did not seek out the buy one get one free deals, or the holiday based sales that were set up for the primary purpose of enticing people to buy things they did not need. Then something changed: my financial status. The weakening economy took my ability to find gainful employment and crushed it under its boot heel, rendering me helpless and counting the loose change in my rapidly dwindling bank accounts.
