1) Research major leadership theories/models to find at least 3 models that will support the organizational culture UPI wants to foster.

The three models that support UPI are servant-leadership, situational leadership, and leader-member exchange theory (transactional leadership). These theories would work excellent with this particular company. This is because they sell electronics to consumers, and have to stay present with various ways in which to lead and manage others as well as keep current on what is out there with technology. In regards to servant-leadership, as the person is who the newly promoted Manufacturing Coordinator is, you will need to have the ability to not only show others how to complete projects, but also do it with the teams as well. This will empower others to do the same, and will encourage them to follow your leadership as well as become better ones as well. With situational leadership, you will have to adapt to various situations, and be able to act professionally, especially if a project should go wrong, or if an employee needs discipline. Your leadership will become transactional in nature as well because there will be in an in-group and an out-group within the organization. Those that do an excellent job within management and employees versus those that do not.
