The process of self-assessment is to review the aspects that play an important role in the development of the identity of a person (Robbins et al., 2013). Gaining awareness regarding the outcome of the self-assessments prompts the task of seeking information and confirming both, the certain and uncertain aspects associated with an individual's identity. These assessments are also beneficial for enhancing the certainty of gaining the knowledge about the personality one has (Robbins et al., 2013). In this context, the following aspects of the identity have been assessed and discussed.

Emotional Intelligence: This aspect reflects the ability of an individual for managing, understanding and recognizing the emotions experienced by an individual and others around him. It is further divided under the concepts of relationship management, social awareness, self management and self awareness (Salovey, Brackett & Mayer, 2004).
Decision-making: The assessment of this style helps in estimating the preferred degree of adopting either intuitive rational decision making. It depicts whether the person makes decisions based on the facts and figures presented or his instinct.
Leadership Assessment: This aspect not only deals with making the people blindly follow the leader and his ideas, but the extent to which the person is flexible to working as a team and focusing on shared goals rather than personal (Salovey, Brackett & Mayer, 2004).
