I often use skills such as empathy to look at things from other people's point of view and step into their shoes before giving them advise or instructions. I use my knowledge and experience to persuade or convince others.

Hence, this team member will be handled using transformational leadership. I will convince this individual to follow and trust me by showing him the big picture and longer term goal and vision of the organizational. He will help me in building trust and bonding among other team members via his persuasion skills. In other words, I will train him to become a future leader in the organization. Along with transformational leadership, I will also use participative leadership style by involving him in various challenging tasks, so that he is groomed into a strong leader. He will also feel motivated by this leadership style.
