For example, a leader is someone who takes the time to serve others, and in the meantime is demonstrating their leadership. When other employees see this, then they are inspired, and want to mimic their supervisor; consequently, they do a better job at their work as a result. The individual then receives job satisfaction, and the ripple effect occurs, and others want to follow as well. Everyone takes on the role of both leader and follow within an organization, whether or not they are in a management position.
