Change is difficult to implement in an organization for several reasons. First, the change is difficult to implement because the communication between the management and employees is weak. The management is not able to clearly communicate the reasons for change. Also, change is difficult to communicate with outside stakeholders such as the financers, suppliers, and customers (1). Further, there is fear of future that makes it difficult to implement change. The employees, supervisors, and managers are hit with fear, anxiety, self doubt, and guilt. These feelings create a barrier in the organization. For example, the manager fears that he will lose his position and power in the organization. Another reason why change Is difficult to implement is that there is lack of adequate resources and poor resource allocation.
