The Norris-La Guardia act is an act that became law in 1932 that prohibits employers from interfering with employees who are seeking to join unions. In addition, this act also made it illegal for employers to force employees to sign contracts that would prohibit them from being able to join labor unions while employed with that organization, and prevents the federal courts from barring nonviolent union activities that are commensurate with labor disputes. This act was historically significant, due to the fact that it provided workers with the power to join unions in order to be able to resist unfair wages and working conditions. The national Labor Relations act was a law that was implemented in 1935, and guarantee the right of unions to utilize the collective bargaining process in order to obtain better wages, etc. This act also provided unions the right to utilize methodology such as strikes in order to help to persuade employers to meet their demands, ...
