In case of strategic leadership the leaders is continuously trying to focus the energies of the people in the organization to achieve organizational goals. He has to learn continuously about the environment and this determines the type of leadership that is best suited for the situation. If the leader is able to learn accurately about the situation and is able to determine his leading style that suits best the situation, the leader will be more successful.
From a different point of view the leader must be engaged in learning about the situation and select the course of action that is best suited to the situational variable. If the leader is successful in learning about the situation he is likely to be a successful leader.
