The issues mentioned definitely have an impact on both large and small businesses and also include sole proprietorships. Corporate culture is integral to all organizations regardless of size. Even the smallest companies need to have a suitable corporate culture that has been established through the actions of management. When management promotes a corporate culture that fosters growth and stability, it affects the organization's achievement and this is true for a sole proprietorship as well. Strong companies are based on a sound corporate culture. Diversity is also integral. When small companies practice diversity, the organization becomes well-rounded and sustainable for long-term growth. If the company, including the sole prop. does not foster a diverse culture, it becomes self-limiting. This impedes the organization's progress because they have specifically excluded this element by not being a diverse company. Multiculturalism is also integral because in today's business climate, so many cultures co-exist. This becomes a central point when a company even conducts business with other businesses that are engaged in international transactions, or when the company expands into various geographical markets that incorporate a diverse market. When companies become multicultural, they make an additional effort and take steps that increase their presence in those markets, which helps the company to grow. This is particularly important for a sole prop. because the sole prop. is generally the smallest form of company that we see (not always, but usually). This means that the sole prop. needs ample opportunities for growth and they need to include all elements listed so as to further their presence and be able to continually expand their operations.© BrainMass Inc. brainmass.com December 24, 2021, 10:30 pm ad1c9bdddf>
