How a company's code of ethics or code of conduct promotes social responsibility in the organizational environment.

Code of Ethics or Code of Conduct, are sometimes used interchangeably. Each code illustrates how an employee within an organization should carry him or herself within the organization or outside the organization. Some organizations desire employees to maintain a professional demeanor during one's personal time as well. When I was attending school for my Doctorate, the Code of Ethics was to maintain a professional demeanor at all times for the reason that how I conduct myself is a direct reflection of the University I attend as well as the organization I represent. What an individual does while he or she is off the clock is just as important as what he or she does on the clock. Most professions generally encourage employees to adhere to a strict code of conduct.

For example, some organizations prohibit the use of social networking sites such as Facebook. Can you help me get started on this assignment?

Review the three different codes and write a four to five page paper on the following:
1. What was in each respective code?
2. Is the code adequate to what the Sarbanes Oxley Act was requesting? Justify your answer.

4. Identify what may be missing in the respective codes that would assist the company in conducting business globally.
