There are several lessons learned at the St Dismas case study. The first thing I learned was that even though per unit earning of a facility may be attractive, the earning must be considered in relationship with the total investment. The total investment in St Dimas was $10. 5 million. Even though each unit earned between $9,000 and $12,000 the payback period was 8.77 years. The second lesson learned is that project objectives should be prioritized. The third lesson learned is that risks related to the project have to balance with the probability of the risk occurring. The fourth lesson learned is that scope may change when the project is being implemented and if the project manager does not anticipate it the project objectives may not be achieved. The fifth lesson is that quality planning, quality assurance, and quality control are important for project management (1).

During the development of the project plan several things went well. I was clearly able to identify the objectives of the project, and the objectives were approved. I was also able to develop a timeline for the project, the budget for the project, and the marketing plan ...
