In the past few years HP has witnessed for several radical changes within the organization such as dramatic tenure of former CEO Carleton S. Fiorina, her departure and board problems. Departure of Florina caused a decrease in the stock price of HP due to possibility of change in course. The probability of the breakup of the company is increasing because of the successive takeovers made by Florina (Can Anyone Save HP, 2005). It is because the management of HP was trying to capture a large market share to compete in every industry through technology beyond the capacity of its resources and management skills.
