The first thing that Mark Hurd should do is to preserve and enhance the profitability of Electronic Data Systems (EDS). The main revenue earners of Electronic Data Systems (EDS) are infrastructure, business process outsourcing and applications software. The marketing synergies that have been suggested include suggestions that the customers of Electronic Data Systems (EDS) will be encouraged to purchase HP products.
