Describe the need for this training.
Write the objectives that you can realistically achieve. The objectives should be written in behavioral terms (what they will be able to do at the end of the training) and reflect the knowledge, skill, and attitude requirements identified in Step 1.
Develop the evaluation material that you will use to test that the learners have achieved the session objectives. Make sure that the evaluation proves that learning has occurred.
Outline the subject matter to be presented during the training.
Write the actual training material.
Address multiple learning styles.
Include various types of learning activities to break up the learning.
Write the first thing you are going to do or say at the start of the session.
When selecting your 2 responsibilities for which you will begin training development, assume that the primary responsibilities of the executive assistant position will include the following:

Providing all administrative support to the president
Maintaining the schedule or calendar utilizing Lotus Notes
Making travel and meeting arrangements
Handling confidential correspondence and projects utilizing Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Directing callers to the proper department to address their issue (not bothering the president with trivial calls)
You may also choose additional responsibilities that you think would be appropriate.
