    HP is a company managed from the inside with a decentralized element. It has its main headquarters in Palo Alto, CA and in what is widely known as the Garage. Neither is available for tours. It also has corporate offices that work as headquarters for their regions in the Americas, Asia, and Europe (which covers Europe, the Middle East and Africa). The overall point to these different "headquarters" is to meet the needs of the companies and people, businesses and governments of their regions.

    The products have some standardization, but products using such technology are going to be adapted to the market they are sold in. The languages, the needs of the organization all are taken into consideration when creating the system. What a school needs is not what the home user ...
