(1) Sampling error : In statistics, sampling error or estimation error is the error caused by observing a sample instead of the whole population. Suppose whole population 10000000. then we cannot collect data of whole population. Then we take some sample of this data. And Whole sample represent whole population. Suppose we take data of 100 samples. Since 100 is much less than 10000000. Therefore error occurs so this error is called SAMPLE ERROR.

(2) Yes, this is an example of experiment. In this experiment we choose the sample of American and Canadian students to find they are alcohol drinker or not.

d) ∑( X-1) = (6 - 1) + (1 - 1) + (3 - 1) + (4 - 1 ) + (2 -1 ) = 16 - 5 = 11
