Defining Therapy

Therapy is defined as that treatment attempted to alleviate and resolve a health problem after extensive diagnosis. A form of remedy, therapy is taken on to reform and provide a solution to a conflict or problem. Therapies could come as a form of chemical, physical or behaviour-management modifiers and the aim, always aside from alleviation is to arrive at a condition wherein the subject of the therapy is cured. There are varied Forms of therapy from that administered by physicians to that of mental & behaviour specialists. Aromatherapy for example is a kind of therapy practiced as a form of alternative medicine that uses aromatic compounds of plants to affect a person's mood, well-being and health. Drug therapy is the standard curative practice used in General medicine.
