Historical trends associated with youth and crimes are placated upon offenses such as stealing, vandalizing, and other crimes. Most juvenile crimes occur during curfew hours between the hours of 12 a.m. and 10 p.m. and juveniles are more probable to commit crimes during these hours. Historically, juvenile crime has been tied to impulse and delinquency has proven to transcend all socioeconomic lines as affluent youth commit the same type of delinquent acts that impoverished youth commit. Therefore, the trends for juvenile crime are primarily predicated upon statutory crimes.
