Personality is hard to conceptualize for most people. Those who study this phenomenon look at all the characteristics of the person and call this personality. Character can have a wide range of emotions, feelings and orientation. This study is to define what is current in the literature regarding personality and how authors study personality. The study of personality is based often on five characteristics often called "the Big Five". These have been found to be inclusive of those notions that make up the parts of personality. They can range from what is considered normal to extreme aberrancy.
