According to the Mayo Clinic, there are several possible treatments available for personality disorders which are reasonable and covers all spectrum of severity and personality disorder types. These include:

However, psychotherapy shooed be the main way to treat personality disorders by talking about their condition and related issues with a mental health provider. During psychotherapy, the patient learns about the condition and such things as mood, feelings, thoughts and behavior. Using the insights and knowledge gained in psychotherapy, they can learn healthy ways to manage the symptoms.
