Personality disorders are becoming more and more commonly diagnosed in today's society. There are three different classes of Personality Disorders: Class A, Class B, and Class C. Children can be diagnosed with personality disorders as well as adults. Those that suffer from personality disorders can live a relatively normal productive life if the symptoms of the disorder are controlled through medication, counseling, and by the use of coping skills. As a childcare professional it is important to be able to recognize the symptoms of these types of disorders.
