Health is a gift in life. In order to live a healthy life, individuals and families strive to make efforts to stay healthful. It enables individuals and families, communities and societies, nations and the whole human race the ability to be productive in life-constructive pursuits. There are several crucial aspects of health - physical, emotional, psychological, intellectual, occupational, charitable, spiritual, social and recreational. Health behaviors form a combination of well-being in all of the aspects listed above. If considered in this way, each of these aspects are intertwined with the others. For example, someone who is physically fit and healthy will also likely be emotional and psychologically healthy. Their ability to handle day-to-day responsibilities and stressors may be better and they may have a positive outlook on life. On the contrary, someone who is ill and also depressed will find their physical and psychological wellbeing compromised. Social and charitable aspects of one's existence are interlinked as well.
