The Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists is a board consisting of professionals from specialized fields in counseling that make up a standards committee within the state of Georgia. These members are appointed by the governor of Georgia, and interested persons should contact the board for any considerations within the state of Georgia.

According to the Georgia Secretary of State (2008), "The Board is charged by law with regulating the practice of professional counseling, social work, and marriage and family therapy in order to protect the health, safety and welfare of the people of Georgia." The board does this by establishing laws and ethics in each profession, setting and enforcing education and training requirements, and adopting and enforcing strict codes of ethics within these fields. The board also deals with unlicensed individuals practicing in these fields.
