Future Research

The study of motivation within the field of psychology is a very broad topic, with many different applications. Reflect back on all of the theories of motivation that you explored throughout the course, and all of the motivational studies that you encountered in the Learning Resources. Consider whether and how motivation interests you and how you might apply information presented in the course to future research and contributions to social change. Research in the field of motivation is ongoing—it may be you who makes the next contribution to understanding human motivation.
