Please help me with the following :
introduction:
Now more than ever, psychotherapists are being asked to show the success or effectiveness of the treatment they provide. If you plan to seek reimbursement from a client's insurance company, the company will want to know your client is progressing in treatment in order to keep authorizing sessions. If you work in a university counseling center, the administration will want to know that your services are effective in order to justify the cost of providing psychotherapy services on campus. If you work in a VA medical center or community mental health center, you will be accountable to administration in order to demonstrate that your clients are making progress and that the services you provide are valuable and necessary.

Many insurance companies or administrative bodies want to see the proof of effectiveness quantified; psychotherapists use what are called outcome measures to measure and monitor clients' symptoms and their response to treatment. These are typically brief inventories; you would not administer a Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) repeatedly throughout treatment. Even brief inventories might be administered only at the beginning and end of treatment, or perhaps intermittently throughout treatment, rather than weekly. One commonly used inventory is called the Brief Symptom Inventory (BSI), developed by Leonard Derogatis. For this Discussion, you explore an array of outcome measures and share your findings with your peers.

I need to find an article that examines strengths and limitations of the outcome measure (years 2009 and so on).
and to write a brief description of the standardized outcome measure.
Then, to explain potential strengths and limitations of the outcome measure.
Finally, to explain potential benefits of using the standardized outcome measure compared with non-standardized outcome measures.I need to be specific, and to cite the article.

Thank you!!!!
