Note to the Student:

Hi and thank you for using Brainmass. The solution below should get you started. You have requested for help in writing a paper on a host of topics. Fortunately, I am quite familiar with them and I have chosen one of the concerns that you listed here as an example that you can focus on. I have been choosing between CSA, parenting styles and teen pregnancy and I settled on the last as I have a really good set of research I have previously done that can be utilized for it, including scholarly resources. The idea is for you to comment on it, to discuss it in a 5-page paper. It's best to have an outline then. I suggest thus:

1. Introduction to the issue
2. Teenage pregnancy as a social concern
3. Looking at the Issue as it relates to the rest of society
4. A simulated example of a case of teenage pregnancy as related by a pregnant teen
5. Conclusion

It is also very important for you to remember to take the necessary steps and precautions to ensure that your submitted material is plagiarism-free. As I said, this work will get you started but you to ensure that the ideas here become the springboard to your own 'take' on the issue, whereby your own views and ideas about it are included in your final paper.

Being teens, they themselves are facing challenges and turmoil that will no doubt be exacerbated by situation of pregnancy. Teenage pregnancy is considered a public issue in the United States due to its socio-economic impact on the mother, her family and the family of the baby's father as well as their local community.

Public Issue

It is easy enough to imagine why teenage pregnancy is such a huge public issue. Aside from the consequences to the lives of mothers, fathers and their families - there is the high risk that the child will face a difficult life where parenting and parental resources will become an issue. According to Dr. Stanley Swierzeski (2000),

"There are health risks for the baby and children born to teenage mothers are more likely ...
