When we don't intake enough Vitamin A, we are prone to many diseases and conditions. For example children and adults can become blind. In fact night blindness is the first sign of vitamin A deficiency. Children and adults with vitamin A deficiency can have recurrent respiratory infections and diarrheas. Because vitamin A is a fat soluble compound any diseases that cause fat mal absorption like celiac disease, Chron's and pancreating disorders can also increase loosing vitamin A.
