Recommendation 4 should be seriously considered by most hospitals and clinics that employed nurses. I think that nurses are currently working toward the goals for recommendation 4. As the healthcare industry is getting more complicated, a credible nurse should have at least a 4-5 year bachelor degree. As patients are getting sicker and delivery of healthcare is becoming more complex, the hospitals and other healthcare facilities need highly trained, educated nurses to handle the complexity of delivering quailities of care. The goals is currently being pursue as hospitals require nurses to obtain a BSN degree. There are programs in hospitals that offered tuitions reimbursement for nurses to take classes to obtain their degree while working.
