a) In respect to personal and professional accountability, one of my key strengths is the fact that I am always seeking to improve my ability to provide the best service possible to patients, by consistently looking for ways in which to increase my educational level. In addition, I will make it a priority to always seek to learn from those nurses that have more experience and knowledge in the field than I do, which will help me to become much better at this profession as well. I also have the strength of not making any excuses for the mistakes that I make, and to simply ensure that I learn from those mistakes, in order to ensure that I don't make the same mistakes again in relation to treating patients, etc. The only weakness that I have in this area, has been that I have blamed circumstances for some of my setbacks in the past.
b) In respect to career planning, one of my key strengths is the fact that I always maintain a five-year plan of where I would want to be in the career field of nursing, and I make adaptations and alterations to this plan as circumstances dictate.
