The term "multicorporate structure" seems to be a term used rarely in the HCO literature. In fact, an Internet search using the words 'multicorporate structure and HCO' received only one hit and that was an advertisement for the text by Griffith's et al. Next I searched many HCO articles for the use of the word 'multicorporate.' I noted that when the term "multicorporate" was used, although rarely, these sources used the terms 'integrated system' and 'multicorporate structure' interchangeably. So this is the definition on which my response is based.
