For almost 20 years now, federal programs and Welvista have tremenduosly improved the lives of individuals and families throughout San Francisco; particularly the poor with little to no access to health insurance and maintainance drugs they need in order to live healthfully. With the start of the 2013 New Year however, the need for HIV/AIDS policies and updates to existing procedures still remains. To date, we still have over 1800 individuals on waiting list for the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP). As such, we need your help in increasing funding and investing in ADAP will ensure that needy individuals living with the disease have ample access to life-saving HIV medications.
