I truly believe that using a systematic approach to changing practice based on evidence when possible is required to improve patient safety and also I feel that multidisciplinary teams can make a difference in restructuring nursing units for better outcomes and less stress on nurses so that we can utilize our critical thinking and care for our patients with pride instead of the overwhelming attitude that presents on a daily basis.

My question is, by using a systematic approach to change and knowing this is important to ensure a successful change, how do you think the information can be used to restore the respect for nurses that has seemed to be lost?
