Psychosocial involves two separate aspects- both social and psychological behavior. Such aspects are also social and psychological determinants of health. As the term relates to dentistry, we will look at the example of the United States, for the most part, mostly middle and upper classes can afford to visit the dentist regularly and especially to clean their teeth or even to receive non-extraction, restorative, and cosmetic or prosthetic dentistry. This would be considered a luxury for many, and would not be economically within their ability to pay.
