What are some ways that technology can be used in educational research today to collect data and to manage the research process. Discuss software that would be effective.

There are so many ways to use technology in educational research. I actually took a course on this last year and went searching for my notes. The main thing I looked at was the Horizon Report from 2011 from the New Media Consortium. Now the Horizon Report looks at how technology can be used in all aspects of education. They have identified six technologies that are on the rise as great thing to incorporate into the education world.
