E-learning refers to classroom instruction delivered using technology such as a computer, internet connection, digital recording, etc. Graphics describe pictures and visual themes to computer screens. Graphics generally catch someone's eye and attract one's attention. Often times a graphic may consist of a chart, drawing, photograph, or an animation. According to Clark (2002), "Research has shown that graphics can improve learning. The trick is to use illustrations that are congruent with the instructional message."
