I need help creating strategies for this case:

One female student, I will call Yesenia, struggled with attention and social skills. She would not complete a task unless she was the center of attention. Yesenia would start arguments with peers to gain attention negative or positive from her teacher.

Teacher gave her classroom duties at the beginning of the year, such as student leader of her row for one week, passing out materials and notebooks, and take them up at the end of class, her duties change each week. Yesenia continued having struggles but, not very often, due to the attention she received as being a leader.
