Well, if I can select from anything, lets go with the biggest failure of all time - No Child Left Behind. Implemented during the Bush (the second one) administration, the idea was to radically change America's schools be holding teachers and schools accountable. To do this, NCLB changed the ways states evaluated teachers and students, with many states implementing programs that tied teacher pay and benefits with student performance. Also, NCLB required that students be tested every year from 3rd grade through 10th grade.
