1. Introduction
Cybercrime is an important adjunct to terrorism, espionage, and economic espionage. Moreover, cybercrime can be sued to target the US information infrastructure, as well as the critical infrastructure of the country. Cybercrime is dangerous because it can be used to target the US government, can be used by foreign intelligence agencies, and for perception management. This piece provides an overview of President Obama's cybersecurity strategy, an overview of President Trump's cybersecurity strategy, and both the 2016 and 2017 cybersecurity strategies to combat cybercrime. This piece examines the similarities and differences between these two cybersecurity strategies. This piece also provides the biblical perspective of cybercrime and the moral analysis of cybersecurity. This piece concludes that cybercrime is an egregious action that is both ethically and biblically reprehensible. Ethical arguments against cybercrime and the biblical perspective are also presented.

2. Cybercrime has become a critical national and global threat. Malicious cyber activity threatens the safety and security not only of the public but also of the government of the United States. For example, cybercrime can not only compromise the financial situation of an individual but can also send critical information about the country's national security to the adversaries of the country. Cybercrime can compromise the United States' national networks (a). These can lead to ransom demands from businesses and at the same time can send important military information to the enemies of the country. Cybercrime can put the critical infrastructure of the US at risk without risking themselves. It also means that they can compromise the security of US nuclear warheads from a remote location and misuse them. On one hand, Cybercrime is widely used to lure children for sexual exploitation (b). Cybercrime is used for child pornography. For example, a child is made to travel through several states before he is compelled into sexual exploitation or trafficking. The Mann Act protects children but Cybercrime has been used to bypass the provisions of the law. Further, computer hacking offenses pose a serious threat to US Security.

For example, the computers of important National Security officials are hacked to get access to security-related confidential and classified information. For example, impairment to the integrity or availability of data can be important to the general infrastructure of the US (c). For example, if the integrity of data is compromised relating to power transmission, there can be widespread power outages. Similarly, any of the utilities of the country can be harmed because of intrusions by Cybercrime. Cybercrime is especially important because it can be used for terrorism. For example, terrorists can target critical networks of the US and render them inoperable. Such attacks are attractive because the terrorists can carry out these attacks without danger to their selves. The terrorist of today does not physically have to hijack airplanes but he simply hacks into the computer system of an aircraft and compromises its safety One of the widest uses of Cybercrime is for espionage. In today's world, the spy does not have to risk his life getting shot, he simply uses Cybercrime to compromise the security of the computer system of the department he targets (d). He gets information from the department for a considerable period till his activities are detected and closed down or till his mission is over and he leaves the compromised system. National security is compromised by Cybercrime because it can be used for the proliferation of weapons. Cybercrime is used not only to steal nuclear weapons but also to sell them either to terrorists or to states that do not have nuclear weapons. Cybercrime also poses an important threat to the economy of our country. Breaking into computers of the Federal Reserve, or large banking organizations can cause widespread losses to these institutions. In this context, private businesses are regularly targeted by Cybercriminals and are demanded a ransom. This activity debilitates the businesses of the country and is an economic setback. Moreover, businesses that are cyber-attacked have to incur higher costs because of operational disruption and changed business practices. One of the most serious losses incurred by businesses is reputational damage. This occurs when data about customers is leaked and compromised. Not only does the firm lose its reputation but it also has to incur millions of dollars to settle claims. The higher costs incurred ...
