Yes, the many different cultures in the U.S. have opened up opportunities by giving entrepreneurs a larger target audience with more diverse tastes. A melting pot culture diversifies the needs and desires of the population and allows entrepreneurs to market products that are cross-cultural. If you visit cities with distinct ethnic areas you can see the effect of the different cultures. In San Francisco, for instance, entrepreneurs are able to market to a vast audience of people from different cultures; these cultures dilute and mix in with the fabric of the city creating a larger fusion of desire and need.
