In non profit organizations the main objective is to achieve objectives that are of public or even private interest but there is no commercial interest. In such cases the need for leadership is far greater than in for profit organizations. The leader must be able to inspire people and marshal them towards a common objective. The objective may be related to education, health, art or environment. The leadership must be able to provide guidance and direction this improves quality.
