The integration plan for the company will include the formation of multifunctional/cross functional teams. The selection of the team members will be such that are drawn from different functions namely operations, marketing, finance, development, human resources and administration. The objective of the team formation will be improving the performance of the organization. The first stage of the integration process with be the team formation in the organization. The second stage will be setting specific goals for the team. The third stage will be to set targets and objectives for each team, and finally monitoring the integration plan.
The objective of the integration plan will be to improve the overall performance. The objective of the integration is that there should be synergies among the different members of the organization and the integrated organizing should lead to a better performance than what would otherwise be possible if thee were no integration. The objective of the integration plan would be to make operations more efficient, reduce costs by reduction of wastage and inventory, improve the financial functioning by making the companies funds earn more, improve marketing by reducing costs and increasing sales, provide greater work satisfaction to employees and reducing turnover of employees and improving the efficiency of administration. Overall the objective of integration plan will be to increase the volume of production, reduce per unit cost of production, increasing the sales of the company, reducing the marketing cost per unit and reducing employee turnover. Each of the these objectives will be given a number so that each performance measure will be quantitative in nature.
The method used by integration plan for performance improvement will be the formation of teams having members from different sources. Each team will be handpicked to ensure that there is an appropriate mix of members in the team so that they can function properly and can meet their targets. Each team will have a designated leader.
