The organizational structure that is suitable for a facility in Thailand is a divisional structure. The reasons are that it is expected that the plastic company will set up manufacturing facilities in Thailand and will also endeavor to market its products there.
The benefits of this structure are that it will help improve decision making, fix accountability and increase the coordination of functions. This is important because Thailand is distant from the USA.
