The overall objective of the orientation program is to make sure new employees are adequately informed and become familiar with all the duties and responsibilities of their new role. Upon successful completion of the orientation program, the employee should be clear on what the company's expectations are, the definition of success and failure, and where they fit in to the overall big picture in the organization and what they are expected to contribute to help meet company targets.

Upon being recruited for a role in the company, the Human Resource coordinator will assign a mentor from within the company to begin orientation from day one. The duty of the mentor will be to make sure the employee feels a warm welcome and gets a great first impression upon arriving.
